St Gwladys Court
We were appointed by Caerphilly Council to carry out a full electrical installation. This consisted of rewires of 26 flats and an entire communal area including corridors. This included:

For this job, we were appointed to carry out a full electrical installation. This consisted of rewires of 30 one bedroom flats and an entire communal area including corridors. This included:

Sheltered Housing Complex
For this job, we completed a full installation of a sheltered housing complex. This included:
- Lightning protection
- Surge protection
- Arc protection (AFDD)

St Cenydd Sports hall
We were employed by Caerphilly Council to upgrade lighting in this sports hall to new LED lighting.
Lightning Protection
At Alexandra Court, we were instructed by Caerphilly Council to design and install a complete lightning and surge protection system.
Millers Wood
New installation of 56 new homes.
Gwyddon Court
For this project, we were appointed by Caerphilly Council for a full electrical package at Gwyddon Court including all sub-mains, new lift supplies, lighting and power throughout. We also installed new fire alarms and door access control.

Design and Install-Factory Rewire
Lightning Solutions were appointed to carry out the design and installation of this factory based in South Wales. The entire unit was damaged in a fire. We were called upon for our expertise to undertake the following tasks.
A 4 week program to install new power and lighting. All containment installed was metal conduit, new sub mains and perimeter trunking for power and data.
New Office Refurbishment
This project had a bit of everything including LED lighting, Emergency lighting, 415v 3 phase power for machinery, 110v power for a workshop, BMS, Fire alarm and Data.
Glaxo Smith Kline
At Glaxo Smith Kline, we installed new wiring and lighting to suit their new layout including emergency lighting in their changing rooms. All lighting was controlled via occupancy sensors to keep the installation as energy efficient as possible.
We designed the CCTV camera layout in house to meet the needs of our customer. A state of the art camera system was installed, to ensure high quality visibility of multiple areas. With this high spec system and the use of HD 4 Mega pixel cameras, cameras can be viewed remotely from electronic devices including smart phones, tablets and laptops.
Vertigo Trampoline Park
Lightning Solutions are delighted to showcase the recent works completed by our highly skilled and qualified team of Electricians. Our experts undertook the challenge within their local community of installing high quality lighting, fire alarms and state of the art CCTV to assist transform what was once an old factory, into the new family fun attraction that is now Vertigo – Trampoline Park, Merthyr Tydfil. The 40,000 sq. ft. space covers two units, where lighting was carefully designed in house to ensure the best lighting options were utilised and installed. We installed high level LED lighting to ensure the space was well-lit and to provide a bright open atmosphere. LED lighting offers energy saving and cost effective benefits for our customer.
New Panel Board
This panel board was newly installed by us and moved from its original position, due to a newly formed opening for a door. This was a tight schedule job as we only had a 12 hour shutdown to carry out all of our work. This distribution board powered all the factory pallitisers.
New install of new panel boards and solar inverters, after a EICR of a factory and raised some problems with discrimination and loadings. We designed and installed this new distribution layout.
We installed light fittings that have movement sensors and LUX level sensors.
Lighting Upgrade
This lighting upgrade was designed and installed all in house. An energy saving report was carried out and the best possible option was installed. We installed light fittings that have movement sensors and LUX level sensors. The factory had a good skylight system in the roof, so in the day the lights are dimmed to use the natural daylight. At some parts of the day the lights were only using 40 % of their capacity. Also, there were some parts of the factory that were not occupied, so the lights would only come on if somebody entered this area.
Merthyr Valleys Homes
Lightning Solutions has recently undertaken the challenge of completing property rewires in partnership with Merthyr Valley Homes. Our Electricians worked under huge pressure to rewire 30 occupied properties in under 5 weeks! With the effective work of our specialists and the background office team working efficiently to liaise with tenants and our Client, we are pleased to announce the project was a great success.
London Fire Brigade - Training Suite
Lightning Solutions carried out the electrical requirements to create a multi-interface space designed to test candidates in simulated situations that reflect real as possible fire fighting and rescue situations. This needed to be achieved within a building that was originally built in the 1960's.
Newtown Hospital
Lightning Solutions installed a new electrical installation to consultation rooms including new distribution, small power and lighting with Emergency Lighting.
